To the North Pole!

marta19831

An interactive spectacle by Luna Moth, inspired by the 1985 fairy tale “The Polar Express” took place at the Community Centre in Kochanow, Poland. Together we were transported into a world of fairy tales and Christmas adventure by boarding a train to the North Pole!

The event combined the art of shadow theatre and creative activities, carrying us around the magical atmosphere of Christmas. We kicked off with a fascinating storytelling session, enhanced by a visually engaging slides for an overhead projector... 🌙

After punching our tickets, and drinking hot chocolate on the train, we then materialised the magic of Christmas through the creative practice of making crafts in Santa's village - the elves showed children the way - How does it feel to walk up to your knees in the snow, or jump across frozen streams? ❄️⛄️

The goal of this workshop was to stimulate creativity, imagination and a sense of community among participants. Parents joined their children on this journey, emphasizing the shared experience of believing in goodness and the magic of kindness. 🌝⭐️

This hopefully encouraged reflection on the importance of maintaining a sense of wonder, awe and inspiration, despite adult disbeliefs that can lead to skepticism. By creating an environment where both children and parents commodify the experience, we hopefully fostered an emotional connection and rekindled belief in the value of generosity and selflessness, as reflected in the Santa Claus archetype. 🎄

Thank You All for Coming.
